The southwest coast of Thailand is a wonderland of strangely shaped limestone islands. (This is known as a “Karst” formation) This one was used in the making of a James Bond movie. You may remember it with a giant laser gun sticking out of the top. The laser gun is gone and you can tour this area by boat from Phuket or Krabi. Better yet, make your own arrangements with local operators to spend a couple days camping and snorkeling in the area. |
